Out of desperation comes innovation.

That’s where it all started. I have been a crafter for most of my life, and have recently progressed to machine embroidery. What a joy that has brought to my life! I have loved stitching out purchased designs, and because I have done so many hand cross stitch projects, naturally, I wanted to do cross stitch projects with my embroidery machine. Then came the problem: matching my DMC floss to my machine embroidery threads. Oh, what a time consuming task that was. And I just don’t seem to have an eye for colors, so many times I wasn’t happy with my choices. But then I stumbled upon a wonderful piece of information: there is a way to compare all of the threads, no matter who manufacturers them! The threads have red, green and blue values, and because I am a computer programmer by trade, I thought,

“why can’t I create a program that will do this matching for me?”

And that’s how easythreads™ came into existence!
